Read the Privacy Policy. It is usually found at the bottom of a site’s homepage. This is important: who will your information be shared with? Always look for a statement along the lines of: “Email addresses given to our company will never be sold, given away, or shared with any third parties without your consent.” When you read those, think to yourself if there's anything in the language that would let them sell their mailing list.

I did this last semester! I needed a Macroeconomics credit to declare my major and I couldn’t be in my special degree program unless I declared officially. So after the fall semester, I looked up the price to take the class at a local community college rather than my university and it came out to about $375- $400 because of all the mandatory fees. I decided to take the CLEP option instead and found a free online macro course that divided it into 3 weeks. Paid $65 for the exam, studied about an hr or two per day over the winter break and then passed. Got the credit and declared. Easy!

For some people, work just has to be in an office, factory, store, or any other environment that’s separate from home. Even a second job would have to be in a separate place. For others, a home office is a welcome place for a secondary or even a primary job. If you’re one of those people, you have some unique opportunities, but you also have some very particular challenges of working from home.

+1 for flipping clothing on eBay. It's really easy to make at least minimum wage right from the get go, and there are thrift stores everywhere. I've been full-time flipping (mostly shoes) and go to school full-time; it's the perfect gig (plus the money is really good once you learn). Feel free to visit r/flipping , lots of helpful people there that would be happy to answer any questions you have.
While some people have been very negative about this, I think there are people who live in areas with limited employment options (e.g., rural areas) for whom this may be handy to know about. Not everyone has access to part-time work and not everyone wants to work part-time (or can, like semi-disabled people who may not have the energy for another job outside the home).
I didn't do it for too long, 2-3 months at most, as I found it quite stressful alongside uni (was studying MSci Physics at the time). You get strict deadlines for returning a completed transcript which has to be very accurate (or they can return it to you to improve without extra pay), the audio quality can vary wildly from source to source so it can be difficult to distinguish the different speakers, and the pay was mediocre.

This is a 'new' section to this post, but I don't really ever plan on putting much here. These are basically online studies that you aren't guaranteed to get anything out of. I'm limiting this section to surveys/studies that only give out >=$500 in compensation and there are at least 10 winners selected. Also the surveys/studies shouldn't be excessive.
"Over the last few years, there has been a huge trend of companies conducting online focus groups. Because of technology and the fact that most people have a webcam, people can get paid for their opinions without even leaving their house. This is a really simple and fun way for people to make extra money online," says Danny DiGiovanni, owner of FindFocusGroups.com. While you may not want to quit your day job, for a side gig, it could work out well. For instance, DiGiovanni says that some recent online paid focus groups on his site have included a focus group about tutors for parents that paid $100, a focus group about taxes that paid $100 and a 30-minute webcam interview about baby products that paid $50.

If you’ve ever wanted to try real estate investing but don’t want to deal with all the stress of being a landlord, you might want to consider investing with Fundrise. Fundrise is a new platform that allows you to invest directly in a real estate portfolio that a team of professionals identifies, acquires, and manages on your behalf. With a starting investment as small as $500, you get exposure to dozens of solid, value-producing assets.

I don't run much of a 'business' on eBay, but I have started selling some things to help me start saving up for a motorcycle. The easiest way to sell stuff on eBay is to throw a free item in. It makes people feel like they are getting a better deal. I may not be making as big of a profit as I would be just selling the item alone, but I make a lot more sales that way. Also, smoking accessories sell very quickly and can be sold at a pretty good mark up.
eBay: With eBay, the procedure is very similar. You simply start by becoming an eBay seller and stay in good standing by making sure your PayPal account is verified, and then you can sign up for your store. These three steps allow you to piggyback on eBay’s reputation, reach, and sales and marketing infrastructure in order to sell your own products.
Okay. So visual artistry isn’t your thing. You can always try web development instead. If design is the facade of a website, development is the structure. The web developer is the guy who engineers the code that makes websites work. Codecademy (19) offers inexpensive online courses that will give you a solid foundation in web development in as little as a few weeks.

Look up companies like Appen, Lionsbridge or Leapforce. All of them are work from home 'search engine evaluator' positions. I used to work with Leapforce and made $800/month regularly (you set your own hours). Now I work for Appen and work 4 hours/weekday and make even more. Tedious, but easy once you get the hang of things and I can vouch for their legitimacy.
Basically what you do is source products from china in bulk (DIRT CHEAP) let's say you buy 200 units for the price of $2.50, and then you send it to Amazon's fulfillment centers and list those products for $15, You make a $12.50 Profit Per Unit you sell. I have a lot of days where I make $150 a day, I sometimes wake up in the morning with 50$ profit, etc. This is by far right now the best trend, I've searched a lot of different ways of making money, while most of them are bullshit. (cash apps, and surveys included) Affiliate Marketing works, but like I said before, you need traffic and that's rough to get for an average person.
You might be desperate for work, but don’t necessarily jump at an opportunity that sounds too good to be true. In my article about common Craigslist scams, I wrote about fake employers who “hire” new employees, then “accidentally” send them too much pay. They’ll ask their victims to wire back the difference, but a few weeks later, when the bank discovers that the initial check is a fraud, the “employee” is on the hook for hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars. If a job offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Actually not. Just a lot of time on the app. I take time to like all my comments, like comments on other peoples pages, follow people, DM'ing, and leaving comments of my own, etc. Just put the time in, look up some strategies online, and test them out to see what helps you gain the most. Look at what large pages in your niche are doing and copy them. They clearly know what works.
MintVine is a cool looking paid survey site that makes it easy to complete a survey, without having to spend too long learning how to do it. One of the things I liked most about MintVine is that they offer a huge amount of ways to get paid: there’s the old favorite PayPal of course, but you can also choose Starbucks cards, Amazon and other gift cards, and even restaurant cards. Your surveys can pay for your next meal, and it’s easy to rack up points here. Some users have reported delays in receiving payments however, but this isn’t a scam and MintVine are working hard to speed up their process and iron our any glitches. If they do, they could be heading into the Survey Cool top ten in 2018.

Swagbucks makes a tangible amount of money with the mobile apps included. I've cashed out my points for two 10 dollar visa gift cards which I got over a span of two weeks without the mobile apps but it's kind of slowed down since I keep getting disqualified from surveys. You should make about 80 cents a day with just the apps alone (minimal babysitting) so that'll be an extra 20 to 30 a month, maybe even more.

Something very important to note before signing up at any site claiming to pay you cash to take surveys is that all legitimate sites offering online surveys that pay do not charge registration fees – they are free to join. Some sites may even offer you bonus as you sign in, to show you they are happy you have become a part of their team and helping them increase their revenue.
I worked in a bookies and saw a dude lose £4000 when he dumped the lot on bayern to win in what should have been am easy game, can't quite remember. That was the highest bet I took, but dudes lost money way more than they won. Anyway, football betting can go either way even if you live for football, if everyone starts betting on it based on this advice there'd be a lot of skint and pissed off redditors.
While you may think getting a raise is the key to making you happier, research suggests it actually happens the other way around: Fostering a positive attitude in your day-to-day work could help you move up in your company or land a big project. According to the Harvard Business Review, an easy way to do so could be through simply helping your coworkers. A 2011 study found that people who coordinated lunches and organized office activities were 10 times as engaged at work—and 40% more likely to get a promotion (and a raise)—as those who didn’t.
Commercial use requires 'releases' - editorial use doesn't. Stock photos can be sold for commercial (eg, marketing) or editorial (ie, journalistic) use. You'll have more opportunities to make cash if your photos are available for both, but photos containing people or property (including branding and logos) need signed releases to be sold commercially.

Also known as health information technicians, medical billers are the go-betweens for patients and healthcare providers. And, as you probably guessed, medical billers process and bill for a variety of services given to patients. If you’re thinking, “Not a lot of glamor here,” you’re right. But anyone with a high school diploma or GED can do it, and business is good.

This online money making machine is becoming increasingly popular. Although it cannot be your primary source of earnings, it can add more money to your bottom line to a certain extent. There are tons of sites paying people to fill out their surveys just to collect some customer data. Among highly-recommended websites are Vivatic, My Survey, OnePoll, The Opinion Panel, New Vista, Toluna, Hiving, American Consumer Opinion. An online survey is an ideal option especially for students who look for ways to make money fast staying away from strict deadlines and fixed schedules. Isn’t it better to turn your monotonous holiday break evenings into cash?
Another way to make money if you only have a few days is to sell items on eBay. You can typically set items to sell in just a few days, and you can have the money in your PayPal account instantly. If you are going to sell on eBay, you have to have excellent pictures. To achieve this, make sure to take photos of your items in a place where they have enough light. Make sure pictures aren’t blurry, and write as much detail as possible in the item description in clear, easy to understand English.
Just like you can turn a profit on sharing your skills online, you can also do so using your knowledge. There are a variety of sites out there that will pay you to do research, answer questions, or be an on-call expert in a number of different industries. Have a nursing degree? You can pick up some extra cash when you’re off duty by answering medically-related questions. Off-duty handyman or plumber? You can do the same thing with home improvement questions. If you just enjoy researching, you can pull in some cash by doing research through a website like Wonder.
As you can tell from the list, I just stick to the higher paying and passive earning places. I am far too lazy to give it the kind of effort you do. Although in my defense, I live in Australia so I don't have access to the high volume sites like Mturk. In fact, most of that is useless here - the only ones on that list that work here are Prolific, UsabilityHub, the Reddit subs and of course Ebay. Redbubble probably works too - I haven't tried that one. I use Teespring.
To test these websites, you’ll be asked to visit the site in question and record your reactions and thoughts as you go through it. To get started making extra money online by testing websites, sign up for some of the most popular services like UserTesting.com, Userlytics, TryMyUI, Userfeel, TestingTime (for people outside the U.S), or Side Income Jobs.
Video is growing like crazy. And more and more people are looking for professional help cutting their raw footage into viral-worthy content. If you have the right software and a bit of skill, you can easily make money online as a video editor. Check out these article of Fstoppers on how to become an online video editor and then look for relevant jobs on Mandy.com, Creative Cow Job Search, or ProductionHub.

Rewards are paid out in cash and PayPal, but the catch of having short surveys is reflected in the pay, which can be miniscule per survey. As you need to earn $50 before you can withdraw anything, that’s a lot of low-paying surveys before you’ve made your money! Some people have complained online that once you get close to the withdrawal amount, the surveys dry up. One way around this is to refer a friend as you’ll receive a bonus when they sign up and you’ll hit your target to withdraw your funds. It’s a bit of a downside, but there are hundreds of very happy consumers who love the site, so it’s worth a shot, especially if you get fed up with the boring or repetitive nature of some of the quizzes elsewhere.

Your Deals. In addition to establishing a per-class price, also offer packages to entice people to sign up for more than one class. For example, if you intend to host classes on making soap, offer the classes individually, as well as in a group. Someone could take a class learning how to use fresh flowers in homemade soap, or they could buy a bundle that teaches them how to use those, fresh herbs, and plastic toys for kid’s soap. However you decide to price your classes, remember that the buyer will want to feel like they’re getting a lot for their money. If you can provide that in a fun atmosphere, they’ll likely be back time and time again – and they’ll bring friends.
Not quite ready to start your own blog, but still like the idea of getting paid to write? You may want to consider trying your hand at freelance writing. Many bloggers and website owners are willing to shell out some serious cash for high quality writers. In fact, Holly Johnson from ClubThrifty.com makes over $200,000 per year from freelance work! And she has a course that teaches others how to do the same.
Unlike some of the other sites, with Inbox Dollar, you essentially sign up to take advantage of whatever Inbox Dollar makes from their advertisers.  They will send you emails which they get paid per receipt of you reading them or clicking a link.  In turn, they give you a cut.  Not to ruin your day but it's a rather small cut.  The links that end up paying out the most usually have some stipulations attached – such as signing up for a service.  This can end up being a lot more hassle than its worth and we recommend you pay VERY close attention to the stipulations.
These endeavors aren’t without traps and challenges, though, so before we take a look at some legitimate ways to make money from your home, let’s review a few things that you should avoid. Unfortunately, if you want to earn an honest living from home, you’re also a common target of scammers, especially in these economically tough times. But if you keep these simple rules in mind, you won’t become a victim of one of the many work from home scams.
Want restaurant-quality fare without spending the money for a meal out? Budget meal-kit services, like Dinnerly, can take the hassle out of cooking and save you money if you are willing to skip dining out. A couple spend about $3,000 a year in restaurant and takeout expenses. Dinnerly charges $38.99 for three meals a week—saving almost $1,130 a year.
Each of their surveys you complete will be worth between 100-5,000 points depending on the length and subject. There are a variety of different topics to cover like consumer goods, healthcare and travel, just to name a few. Once you reach 3,000 points you can start redeeming rewards. You have to call and redeem points over the phone, and it typically takes a month for the rewards to reach you.
When I lived in Boston we had Allston Christmas...basically at the end of August when everyone's lease was ending people in Allston would just put their furniture out on the street for anyone to take. Never saw any MacBooks or electronics, but there was always some decent furniture out there for the taking. I was just a student as well so never really took anything but an end table, but if you had space, a roomy car, and a little restoration skill you could pretty easily pick up and flip furniture for some decent side cash (at least when September comes around)

26. Services – You can offer a paid service, such as life coaching, blog coaching, goal setting or financial planning. Just be sure to investigate all the legal implications and make sure you’re not claiming to be a professional if you’re not one. With a service like this, you’re basically using your blog to sell yourself. You’ll need to convince people that you’re worth buying and then be able to back up your claims once they purchase your service.
You can set up a website, gradually build up the content (articles, videos, podcasts, etc.), then eventually monetize the site through advertising, affiliate marketing, or even the direct sale of specific products or services. Even better, you can generally find whatever services and technical assistance you need online and free of charge. Later on, when your site develops a reliable cash flow, you can begin working with paid providers who can take your blog to the next level.

Summary: A real favourite, MySurvey is a popular panel allowing members to participate in market research surveys for money, covering topics like the media, tourism and products like electronics. It’s easy to set up an account on the site and begin earning points, which vary between 10 and 500 per survey, but are typically around the 100 mark for an average survey which would take 15 minutes to fill out.
My 10-year-old son brought home a book from our park’s free library box. It was a biology textbook – teachers edition. He said it looked interesting and hey, it was free (having no idea you could sell it). I scanned it in my Amazon seller app and realized it was worth around $150. He was so excited. We listed it for sale for $130 and it sold! Going to tell him, he just made $130!
I used to do this stuff about 10-15 years back and back then there were fewer opportunities (no way in hell were you getting 30-40h of surveys) but they paid on par with or above minimum wage. Back then they were a pretty good supplemental and pretty fun too. Sadly, the rewards gradually declined along with the fun (being told that I don't qualify after 15 minutes of entering information is not fun).
Video production is something few people know how to do and many people are willing to pay for.  It's not uncommon for a video producer to have an hourly salary around $150.  Most often the biggest obstacle to video production is finding clients.  Some good ways to keep business coming in is to do smaller jobs on marketplaces like Fiverr and Upwork.
I have been on this site for a while now and there is one thing that never fails.. at least a couple times every day someone posts a thread asking how to make money. Some want to make $5 per day, some have higher goals at $10 per day (that was sarcasm for those wondering) and then some want to know how to make $5,000 within 30 days to pay for some important medical procedure..
Speaking of teaching, even if you don’t have a teaching degree or current certificate, you may be able to make money teaching English online. This is a great side gig for those working a full-time job. The scheduling is flexible and you can work in the early morning, evenings and on weekends. And the pay is pretty good, too! Some ESL tutors are paid up to $21 per 40-minute class.
It’s easy to earn cash for surveys. How much you get paid completely depends on how many paid surveys you attempt and complete. Each online survey has a different payout, with some offering as much as $50. Most will pay less, but also take less time. Expect to earn about 40 to 200 SB points per survey (100 SB = $1), with occasional opportunities with much higher earning potential.
Have not worked as uber driver but to me personally it likely doesn't seem worth it..as it would be a 2nd job and at late night/early morning hours..which would likely be higher risk for road accidents. And the added wear/tear of the car along with dealing with unknown ppl in a car you driving...just for me the extra pay is not worth the extra risk imo.

Ebates is another cash back app, similar to DOSH, and right now they are offering a $10 signup bonus. There’s no rule saying you can’t have multiple cash back apps, so why not sign up for a couple just so you get the bonuses? Once you get your bonuses, then just use whichever app gets you the best deal on your upcoming purchases. Easiest money ever!
