Often, what happens is that we run into unscrupulous Internet Marketers (IMs) who have less-than altruistic intentions of extracting money from you rather than helping you to make it. However, this isn't something new. People have been falling for networking marketing, pyramid schemes, and affiliate marketing scams since before the start of the net.
CashCrate: Similar to Swagbucks, CashCrate offers money to users for taking surveys, watching videos, signing up for websites and referring others to its own site. Survey payouts and completion times vary, but there are two daily research surveys that pay 80 cents each. If you were to complete those each day, you’d earn close to $50 in a 30-day month — provided you qualify for those surveys. Payments are processed and issued once you’ve earned at least $20.
18. CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.
CashCrate sends out literally thousands of payments a month to users just like you who spend time completing surveys and offers on CashCrate.com. How do they do it? Well, they do surveys and offers regularly. It really adds up! Your initial goal should be to meet minimum payout, which is $20.00. Making $20.00 in free cash is actually quite easy considering there are hundreds of surveys and offers available, but here are a few tips to get you to your goal faster:
Upwork: This website offers a great marketplace for selling just about any professional service. You don't need a merchant account, website of your own or anything else for that matter. All you need to do is be able to provide a high-quality service at a reasonable price. But be informed, you will have to compete with many others that are constantly bidding on open jobs.
Excellent post with great advice. The internet provides a great opportunity for people of all ages to make money. Persistence is one of the real keys. Don't compare your results with those of other people. This only leads to anxiety and a competitive mindset. Do the best job that you can and stick with it and you will make money with any of the methods which you've mentioned.
Hey there my friend this is Kanwar Manoria, I use the Empower Network and in this short article I wanted to share this story of how to make money online. Before we continue this is not guaranteed that you’ll make a single cent online using Empower Network’s products...please see average earnings disclosure. I wanted to share this story to do that I going back to 2005, I had just gotten started in the direct sales industry and I was like this new guy on fire, I really wanted to change my life. I really wanted to use something powerful for myself and my family. I went to a conference and there was 15,000 people in the room thundering and roaring and I remember this guy named Bill walked down on the stage and remember standing at the back of this auditorium … 15,000 people and remember looking up there and saying somehow, someday , someway I’m going to make it. The next years were the the most awful ever. I tried everything under the sun you could’ve imagined to make money from home I ran around passing flyers to random stores like Walmart. I hit up my friends and family, i tried home meetings I prospected in places like Starbucks…just anything you could’ve imagined to try to create an income…i tried…and repeatedly failed and failed over and over again in fact I failed so bad in 2009 this is 4 years later I didn’t even have a home to make money from. I lived in a van. And I had this job where I was hitting people of for donations for volunteering companies and It was actually a job where i earned commissions but i got fired from that job. And I had no money, no job and no place to live. And I made a decision that I was going to change. Then i stumbled across this strategy called blogging in 2009 and it was like a miracle to me when i learned the strategies that you’re going to learn as a member of empower network. I started blogging 90 days after i was making more money in a month than a year. I started to travel the world , I moved to Costa Rica and lived on the beach. I went to Bora Bora… to different countries and different cities and I started speaking in-front of groups of people but there was something that was broken…and what I mean is this I had something that worked but nobody could do it, it was too complicated and had too many steps and it took me 2 years of pain and struggle trying to figure out how to help people get the results that i’m getting how do i take a person and lead them through a process that helps them create the life that they want now, right? Eventually in 2012 I was so frustrated that i stopped working at all…i said if i can help people get the results they want, i’m not going to do this anymore. I’m going to quit and live back in a van or get a random job…ill go work in a coffee shop and then one day of 3 months of not working i was a little bit depressed I decided to go for a walk and I was living in the mountains in Costa Rica. And I started to walk into the hills and started listening to meditation music, and thinking about these things : how can i create something where people can get involved and create the business and results of their dreams. I had a flash of insight that pulled all these parts together that showed me a plan, a strategy that turned into Empower Network. About 5 months later we gathered together in a hotel room with 37 people on a white board and I laid out the strategy and I laid out the plan for how we were going to create this company what happen in the next 30 days were amazing. That room of 37 people turned into 9000 people blogging using our system. That group of 9000 in the next 6 months turned into a group of 30000 people blogging using our system. We gathered again 1350 people in Atlanta, Georgia for an event. 3 months later tens of thousands of more people started blogging using our system. We gather again. 2400 people meet out in San Diego, California. 90 days later tens of thousands of more people gather and use our system. We meet again in Austin, Texas 3400 people… 3 months later tens upon tens upon tens upon tens of thousands of people start using our system. Now we have 100,000 people using our blogging system to get results in all kinds of businesses. From chiropractors to dentists other people in direct sales and network marketing and to affiliates - people making money selling our products. We gather again, 4500 people using our strategies to create income, people just like you.

It’s an essential part of your success that you focus on just one niche at a time. Here’s what I mean. Don’t try to be like Amazon, selling thousands of different types of products. It may seem counterintuitive but promoting many products across many niches is not the best approach for first-time online entrepreneurs. To be honest, you can’t compete against Amazon or other catch-all internet retailers. You have a much better chance focusing on a niche market.
It is a long answer as affiliate marketing is not as simple as it seems. However, it can be easy if you have a mentor to work with you. Did I say it is fairly cheap to start a website and pretty straightforward? As compared to the bricks and mortar business, it is much simpler. All you need is a computer, some disciplines, and time to write to engage your readers. Most full-time bloggers started writing about their hobbies and eventually turned them into online businesses over time.
When it comes to money-making opportunities on YouTube, the cliche is, of course, the video game streamer. If you are a gamer, you're probably familiar with PewDiePie, the Swedish YouTuber who features various video games. While gamers are popular on YouTube (and even more so on Twitch), there are a lot of them, so if that's your art form, you're going to need to be competitive.
Set up the site. Choose a website building platform, such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal. Next, choose a domain name and web hosting for your site. The domain name is your web address. Web hosting is a service that connects your site to the internet. Once you have your domain name and web hosting, go to the control panel of your hosting account and install your website platform. Design your website by choosing and installing a theme.[9]

In addition to interacting with friends and strangers, social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat can be used to make money. Companies and popular brands pay social media strategists to further boost the popularity of their products. With lots of competition around and the constantly shortening of attention time of online viewers, creativity is essential to create posts, videos etc that can go viral quickly and enhance the brand value. Remember, social media needs dedicated time and energy to stay relevant. Hence, you need to share posts regularly and interact with your followers on a regular basis.
I collected cans in my teens and made a few extra bills for spending money. If this idea is of interest, you might be motivated to hear the true story of Maisie Devore who was able to raise money collecting cans for a community swimming pool.  She was able to save $73,000 over three decades and is still collecting.  Whoa!  Learn more about this idea by reading my collecting aluminum cans for cash post.
Waiting tables and bartending are good ways to make extra money, but it’s not exactly if the work was easy. And if you don’t have any experience good luck applying at the nicest place in town, most restaurants require experience. Also if you have problems dealing with demanding, hungry people – STAY AWAY! The hours are late, sometimes you won’t make any money. Especially right now, starting at new place will be difficult, if you can get hired expect to be the first one cut every night (aka less money) as those with seniority will want to stay. It still is a good deal though. I’ve put myself through college (chem major) without loans, never lived in the dorms, and I have about 10K in the bank. I will continue working in the restaurant biz even after I have a “Real Job,” the extra 10-15K/year for part time work is worth it.
Some pages on this site contain affiliate links in which I get paid a commission if a purchase is made. I only endorse products or services I've used or gotten great feedback from. In most cases, I endorse products without being an affiliate or receiving any compensation and would never recommend anything if I had concerns that you might not be satisfied with it.

Etsy: While Etsy's popularity has declined recently, it's still a great resource for selling handmade items online. No need for complex ecommerce sites or merchant accounts or any sort of automation. The company takes a commission of every sale and charges a small listing fee per item. But many still use Etsy as their primary source of income. The best part is that you can also sell digital products on here such as poster designs.
Amazon (www.amazon.com): This is the world’s biggest internet retailer. But they also have a huge affiliate marketing program you can take advantage of too. Just about any Amazon product you can sell as an affiliate. By the way, of Amazon’s $100 billion in revenues in 2015, it’s estimated that $10 billion of that was generated by its affiliate marketing partners.
Of course you want affiliates with high commissions, but they should also have a solid reputation with high conversions and low reversal rates (you get $0 if people cancel after signing up). If they’re part of an affiliate marketplace like ShareASale or ClickBank you can see some numbers there. Companies likes Amazon/SiteGround are safe bets, otherwise do your research (or track your affiliate links so you can monitor their performance). Avoid affiliates offering huge commissions since this probably means they’re struggling to acquire/retain customers naturally. This will hurt your numbers (specifically your conversions/reversal rates).
