My 10-year-old son brought home a book from our park’s free library box. It was a biology textbook – teachers edition. He said it looked interesting and hey, it was free (having no idea you could sell it). I scanned it in my Amazon seller app and realized it was worth around $150. He was so excited. We listed it for sale for $130 and it sold! Going to tell him, he just made $130!
i hate when people bullsh*t you (me), so i wont be a di*k. CashCrate is free to sign up and they have offers and surveys that range from $(.)50 thats fifty cents to 4 dollars and they also have offers that require a credit card, but you can earn up to 40 dollars for one survey. this survey that im talking about is one for a credit card. you register for one using valid info and your credit card number (probally so they know you have a bank account ) and if you qualified you get the credit card and 40 dollars for doing the offer through CashCrate.
Thanks, these are truly amazing work ideas. Some of these can be practically done in my neighborhood even! Though they certainly can’t match an actual job, they’ll work as great and quick sources of income. I’ll plan doing at least one of the $100 jobs listed during weekends and holidays. A $400-$800 addition to income is something to be taken seriously.
Robert said he did an average of 4-6 of these gigs per year for a while depending on his schedule and the work involved. The best part is, he charged a flat rate that usually worked out to around $100 per hour. And remember, this was pay he was earning to advise people on the best ways to use social media tools like Facebook and Pinterest to grow their brands.
There always has to be one jerkoff that needs to correct someone’s information. Do you feel better now that you have made sure your voice was heard. Ok, so it doesn’t pay instantly, perhaps the author’s does. I do Field Agent and have $182.00 this month. It does not payout instantly either, but I did not think to be rude and comment that this person is wrong. Instead, I would like to thank them for compiling such a helpful list and I will be trying a couple of the suggested sites right away. Thanks so much and to the person who must show that he knows something we don’t know……hush.
Stay wary of scammers. Be skeptical about paying money for courses that promise to teach you how to sell products on Amazon. For instance, in July, the Federal Trade Commission filed charges accusing Jessie Conners Tieva, a former contestant on the NBC reality show, "The Apprentice," for conning people. Allegedly, consumers paid Tieva thousands of dollars for business courses and seminars that taught them how to make money as a third-party Amazon seller.
Have you ever wanted to buy a paddleboard or a kayak? Generally, something like this would be a liability, (something that takes money out of your pocket) however, if you rent your paddle board at the beach it becomes an asset. Do some research to learn what things you can rent. Then start saving your money or maybe you could get it as a birthday present.
Whether you're looking to make some fast cash, or you're after long-term, more sustainable income-producing results, there are certainly ways you can make money online today. The truth is that making money online isn't as difficult as most make it out to seem. It does require some discipline. Sure. Without discipline, you'll find it tough to make a buck both online or offline.
Certain niches are easier to get into. Believe it or not but there are plenty of amateurs making money writing short romance novels online. These short stories could be in a specific niche like erotica, historical, paranormal, time-travel or LGBT. Other amateur writers can be found writing science fiction, mystery or thrillers too. Stories are usually priced in the $2.99 to $9.99 range with ~60% going back to the writer.
I’m not suggesting that you let your kids offer their research skills to their classmates in exchange for money. A better idea, for instance, is to offer research assistance to college students or academic professionals. The tasks may be as simple as looking up pertinent information or verifying data online, but can be more complicated depending on the skills of the child.
For the structure of these articles I like to target a frequently searched keyword such as “Cyber Monday (My Niche) Discounts” etc. because I know people search for “Cyber Monday” and “Black Friday” millions of times each year but they also search a longer form version like “Cyber Monday (My Niche) Discounts” as evidenced by the above traffic graph from one of my Amazon sites
As you learn you get rewarded with points toward commissions with a 13 year old company that is rated with the BBB. The site has many rescources for you to learn how to be a pro affiliate with their company or on your own. Either way you learn great information. A good place to start. Or even if you have been beat up out there with all the crap some sites have to offer.
Beware of survey sites which want you to pay a joining fee, these are quite often scams and the likelihood is that you will lose more money than you earn. Do not reply to spam emails or pop up ads promising big sums and luxurious prizes, these are quite often scams. Instead, stick to trusted sites like Get-Paid and always do some background research before giving your information to a new website or taking part in a survey from a new place. If a site is legit and the company can be trusted, it will have customer reviews to back it up. Generally, online survey scams can be broken down into four groups.
Submit all posts to relevant blog carnivals. Also, socially bookmark every post on as many places as you have time to do so. Place some Adsense on it and maybe a few affiliate products. Then leave it. It might take a few months to get your $100, but it will still be as a result of one day’s work. If this works well for you then there is nothing to stop you from keep creating one of these every day.
The Guardian is a very popular and forward-thinking online publisher. Recently, they decided to conduct an unprecedented experiment. They decided to buy all of their own ad inventory and monitor where all of their money went. We’re assuming they did this to better understand this space and position themselves accordingly. What they learned in their experiment was stunning.
If you have a fondness and talent for taking pictures you can make extra money online by becoming a stock photographer and selling your images to a stock photo company like ShutterStock or iStockPhoto. You’ll get royalties every time someone licenses an image you’ve submitted. To really be successful, build your own photography website to be able to showcase your portfolio and start getting higher-paid private corporate work.
In any case, you will want to ensure that what you are promoting is legit and is something your audience will find value in. Because what you have (an audience) is far more valuable than a quick commission. So I highly recommend you research whatever product you want to promote at length, and be sure it’s something you would buy yourself, before recommending it to your followers.
If you want to make money easily as a kid, offer to tutor your friends or neighbors in a subject you're really good at in school, like math. Alternatively, babysit for your neighbors or parents' friends when they go out. When you're off school during the summer, organize a daycare so you can look after younger kids while their parents are at work. Finally, speak to your parents about giving you an allowance in exchange for household chores, like cleaning the house or raking leaves in the garden.
If you’ve got a way with words and expertise in a niche, there are plenty of sites that will pay for articles and content you write. Think of the sites you read regularly. What can you contribute to them that would be interesting? Research your niche and then look for ways to pitch articles. Many sites will simply have a submission or contact link in the footer. To get started, check out my full guide to becoming a freelance writer on the side and then submit your articles to places like Listverse, TopTenz, A List Apart, International Living, FundsforWriters, and Textbroker.
“I immediately began searching in their ‘Find Assignments’ section, looking for a topic that would be appropriate for me to write about. That was my first reality check. This section can be quite laughable, to put it nicely. For example, when I searched their section on animals, looking specifically for dog-themed assignments, some of the topics under this heading included ‘How to Change the Heating Coil in a 1994 Cavalier,’ ‘How to Troubleshoot an Airhandler Float Switch,’ and ‘What are IRS Plan Disqualification Penalties’.”
One of the cool things about Google AdSense is that it's so easy to get set up. If you have a blog or website, you can sign up for a free Google AdSense Account. From there, Google will give you a unique code that you will paste onto your website. Google takes it from there, tracking your page views, traffic, and earnings on your behalf. There is no upkeep or maintenance to get this thing going, which makes it a no-brainer if you have a website already.
If working with ads sounds exciting to you, there are a few ways you can learn more. First, you can always search on Google for free information on relevant topics like affiliate marketing, digital advertising, and Facebook ads. If you’re willing to pay for training, you can look for courses offered by bloggers (like the Pinterest one here), digital marketing experts (my favorites are the ones over at Create Your Laptop Life), or on course platforms like Udemy.
Fixed-price advertising is when you set a flat fee for your ads, a setup that tends to attract smaller advertisers with a very specific budget. I’d also recommend BuySellAds for this due their extensive range of tools that can help the smaller website (those with less than 100,000 impressions) sell their inventory directly to advertisers. Fixed pricing = clear expectations.
I have to say I got curious if there were any other sites that gave free money like that and found this site that is extremely useful! I work a full time job and my boyfriend is convincing me not to work another because I tend to overwork myself. I’ve brought all of this up with him and even he is interested in doing online things to get paid. It is really going to help us out.
