Do you enjoy fast food or going into retail shops? Many companies hire mystery shoppers to test the customer service of their stores. A common one is Subway, which hires mystery shoppers to ensure that "Sandwich Artists" are following all the franchise guidelines. If you have time and can travel to different places, this could be a good side hustle.

You now have the formula to a make massive amounts of money with Clickbank (or any other affiliate network). It takes more work than the hit and run model but the payoffs are much higher. I hope you enjoy this post and I hope it opened your eyes to what it really takes to make money with Clickbank. Your comments are welcome. If you felt I’ve left anything out and you have a question, please post it.
There are better business models out there but Clickbank can be an ok way to learn. The downside is most people who start on there get their ad accounts blocked as they don’t understand the terms of service and can’t advertise from them in the future. The web is becoming more transparent and people are wiser to what an affiliate ad is. The people who click them tend to be an older demographic 50+. If you are going to promote something, make a decision to only promote good products.
Direct sales — Last but not least, direct sales can be a great way to make some extra money as a college student. These companies often have minimum sales goals, but a lot of them are very doable minimums every three or six months, so the burden isn’t too heavy even when you’ve got a busy semester. The key is to find a direct sales company selling something you absolutely love, can afford, and want to share. The good news is that there are tons and tons of direct sales companies, so you can go into it selling just about anything. Stella & Dot is one of my favorites.

Today, there are a lot of websites that you can join absolutely free that connect you with English learners. Often times, they're just looking for someone to give them feedback on their speech or correct their grammar in their writing. Many times, they just want the chance to have a conversation with an English speaker. That means that by sheer virtue of being a native speaker yourself, you are qualified. Two sites you should explore that offer this opportunity are Dada ABC and Wonderkids.
Choose your niche and check for demand: The golden course combination is when you can find an in-demand niche that aligns with your skills and unique experiences. A great way to do this is to use Google Trends and Google’s Keyword Planner to look for average monthly search volume for keywords related to your proposed course content. Are people actively looking for high-quality information about this subject? Of course, if you’re already creating content for a blog, coaching service, or a site like Medium, you can test demand this way for free just like Bryan did.
And last, the content of your ad. If attractive or intriguing, it will be used more. If it is boring or boilerplate, people won’t be drawn to click on it. This process becomes second nature, especially when you see what works in general and for your audience, and how to hone your budget for maximum exposure and effectiveness. Once it is a habit for you, you will see clearly how gurus use these steps to make thousands of dollars every day.
I recently covered this topic in depth. Here are the 10 most important languages for a programmer to master. In my view, a coder who does not know at least one of these is wasting his or her time on weak technologies: http://hackishword.com/blog/2014/the-10-most-important-programming-languages-ever Also, here's another decent post on the subject, but I highly recommend you go with my list of 10, spoken from someone with a lot of coding under my belt: http://www.businessinsider.com/best-programming-languages-2014-12#ixzz3NZpkvjuJ
I've learned so much with this course! KC Tan is an excellent instructor. He covers all the bases. Also, his facebook group and email list have both been a great value for me. I've made money using this method, and I'm hoping to start making even more by learning list building details in another of his courses that I just started. So glad I came across his courses.
Virtual assisting is essentially secretarial work on the web. You will do a lot of the same tasks an office secretary would do, like scheduling appointments, managing emails, making phone calls, etc. The only difference is that you work at home from your computer. Most of the other online jobs on this list would require you to work with multiple clients to maintain long-term pay, but this would give you more of a traditional 9-5 feel for your job, where you work with one or two clients total. Of course, you don’t have to work 9-5. You can work whenever you want as long as it fits your employer’s needs.

Making money online is entirely practicable for students. You just need to make sure that you whatever job you want to do, or service you want to offer, you are good at that. By earning money online doing an online job or more, students can pay down their student loans, pay bills, save for buying an expensive gift, and achieve any other financial goal.
Do you have stuff in your garage that you don't use anymore? Maybe a bicycle or camping gear? Maybe it's something that you do use, but not very often. If you want to put your stuff to work for you, consider using a service like Rentything, which allows you to rent almost anything you own. You just create your own rental shop and list items to rent. People contact you and pay you online through the platform. A simple and easy way to boost your income! A similar site is Zilok.
Another popular site to earn money doing gigs is Amazon's Mechanical Turk. You get paid a very small amount per gig (sometimes as low as $0.05) but you can do these tasks very quickly. For example, you could be asked to identify a picture or type certain text. When I was in college, I used to do these gigs in class and earn money while taking notes.

As with online coaching and selling eBooks, when you have something you’re skilled at and very passionate about, you can turn that winning combination into offering your services with one-on-one online coaching. I have experience with Javascript (jQuery, js vanilla,), I’ve been working on some web apps with Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and MongoDB, I know PHP. Right now I’m working with Javascript but on Mobile Development, Have you ever heard about Titanium SDK?, I’ve developed some apps with that and it really works. I work as Professor in an University but I’m looking for online jobs to get an extra I need. Freelancing is challenging most of the time, that’s what I love the freelancing. I’m willing to participate on online projects to involve with new developments and prove my skills for free.
If you're an artist, and consistently create paintings, drawings, computer animations, or anything else visual, you could sell your artwork online on a site like Deviant Art. Deviant Art allows users to upload images, and they can elect to sell those images as prints or even special projects like mouse pads and more. Whenever an item sells, the artist will receive 20% of the purchase price. Higher membership levels earn higher royalties.
When it comes to technology involved in creating an online course and taking payments, this is the one thing you don’t need to worry about any more. The good news is that with the tools and resources available nowadays, it’s going to be a piece of cake. In the Profitable Course Academy I walk my students through how to easily create slides, and video lessons and give my personal recommendations when it comes to course hosting platforms.
Next, you’ll want to pick a WordPress theme from somewhere like ThemeForest, Elegant Themes or OptimizePress. This is the barebones design of your site, which you can then customize with your own branding, copy, and images. That being said, you don’t want to cheap out. It costs less than $100 to buy a theme that will make your website look professional (and you can upgrade to a completely custom design once you get the business going).
Medium is an online community where anyone can post articles and essays and get them in front of their audience of millions of monthly readers. While it can be a great place to build your audience for your own blog or find customers for your consulting business, with Medium’s new Partner Program, you can now make money online whenever someone reads your articles. Register for free and you can choose whether your articles are freely available or only readable by those people paying $5/month for a premium Medium membership. You’ll make money based on the amount of people who read and engage with your posts each month.
Along the same lines as donating plasma, young and healthy adults could donate their sperm or eggs for money. Donating sperm doesn't command much, but it can be a small supplement to your income. On the other hand, donating your eggs could earn you anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000. However, there's work involved in the process, and it's not painless.
It was really nice to go through your article..very interesting indeed. Actually, i m in a similar situation. I know html / CSS / little bit of seo. Now, I have to earn my livelihood through freelancing only. I am confused whether to go for Android dev. or web applications dev…Moreover if its web, then which among the big 3, Joomla, Drupal, WordPress should I focus on entirely. I have heard and seen that wordpress market is pretty much saturated if i am not wrong. Anyways, plz do kindly put your valuable advice as to where is the most demand n at the same time less competition. Its worth mentioning here that I shall have to focus only on the online freelancing sites for projects.

TIP #3: If you’re concerned about not being “expert enough” for people to buy from you, do not let this stop you from taking action. If you have some awesome credentials, great, you can use them in places like your profile or biography for these platforms. But if not, that’s fine too, just be honest. But also be creative with it and try and squeeze out as many strengths and accomplishments that you’ve achieved in your life, because your profile is really your opportunity to brag about all the things you’ve done and shine…kind of like the cover letter of a resume. The most important thing is that people want to buy from others they like, trust and that are just real and genuine and know what they’re talking about. And even though you may not consider yourself the tippy top “expert” in your entire niche yet, for the person who knows absolutely nothing about what you’re creating a course around, you’re a little more expert than they are. So, again, don’t let that fear stop you.
These days and after the financial crisis back in 2008, its seems you have to give much more, and gain more trust to make a sale, and rightly so. Just think about when you have ever made a purchase offline, you think about, you go back to the shop, you look, you touch you get a good feel, and go back and talk it over with you partner. Then after a bit more time, when you have slept on it you buy. This is how I see buyers nowadays online.
Maybe it might surprise you to learn that it has far less to do with which bank you choose to click with, or which ZOO you JV on, but more to do with learning how to successfully promote products as an affiliate by either observing some of the successful affiliates who are making money online, or by getting a mentor with proven success that can show you how.
Once you’ve gathered a list, put together a template outreach email (as you’ll be doing this over and over) that’s short and clear with expectations. Tell your potential interviewee who you are, what your podcast is about, and what you’re asking of them. Do a few test interviews with friends and family to make sure everything is being recorded at the quality you want and then book your first episode.
I start with topic for my website, then build my website and start writing content for it. Because I don’t sell my own products, I already know that I’ll be able to sell products from other people without an issue. What I do is called “affiliate marketing”. Some people do like to research potential products to sell beforehand, but for myself, I’m mostly concerned with finding a topic I think is interesting, with maybe some traffic numbers research, and monetization comes afterward!
This is one of the best way to earn money online. Lets say if you have good knowledge about website designing then you can help some people on web who wants a web designer to work on their project, work for them and you will be paid for your work. Not only web designing but any other skill will also work, as long as there are people who want you with that skill.
You know those top-down cooking or craft videos you just can’t seem to get away from these days? There are people out there making a living from them. 78% of B2C companies depend on user-generated content, like those videos, for their marketing campaigns. You can sign up as a creator on a site like Darby Smart and potentially work with brands like Nordstrom, Mattel, and BarkBox. Or, use them to build your YouTube following and monetize through ads and views.

The best language to kick off would be php. Php rules the web industry, lots of freelancings are coming under php . I would recommend you to learn Yii Framework( which is the best in industry for php ). More over you will get lots of supports and tutorials from the internet which makes your learning process very easy. Moreover php is more fun coding compared to others
Robert said he did an average of 4-6 of these gigs per year for a while depending on his schedule and the work involved. The best part is, he charged a flat rate that usually worked out to around $100 per hour. And remember, this was pay he was earning to advise people on the best ways to use social media tools like Facebook and Pinterest to grow their brands.

I am glad you have started to build you own website. This would be my preferred way to make extra income online as everything will be under your control. In order to compete with other programmers, sometimes it requires not only the skills but also your marketing skills to get you famous and popular. If you are interested to learn how to keep your website well ranked on search engines, you should perhaps look at my recommended training platform – Wealthy Affiliate. Hope you will have a good read.

As you start regularly putting out content, you’ll hopefully start to build a bit of an audience. But to start seeing real money from YouTube you need to market your videos elsewhere. Share your channel on Twitter and Facebook. Distribute videos anywhere else you can think of. Also, interact with comments and build a community around the videos you’re making so people will share it with their friends.

Totally awesome Gael. Thank you so much for sharing. Yes, the per-engagement presell sequence strategy is the way to go in 2015 – pulling folk in with front end value content building that all important relationship factor and enticing them to opt in for more…, then offering them a solution at a lower price as it’s the first offer on TY page…and then promoting the opt in throughout your posts starting out with the problem, then turning it into finding the solution (as you have done above, lol!), plus Outbrain to LINK relative content, AND get affiliates on board + repeat with many blog posts and many offers, specially ads via FB and Pinterest Pin posts – man this is a powerful win-win. Makes SO much sense to me – am doing this right from NOW…Will be following your CB success and I’ll report back mine… R.

Hi, you have a good list here. I have a question for you, I got C++ and python under my belt but I want to become a freelancer and i heard that these 2 languages don’t make much money to freelance with. so i ask you, if i was to learn one new language and be good at it. what language would you advice me to go with? I am a computer engineering and need someone to direct me to the right path to start my freelancing career. Not looking on becoming rich. just want to be able to support my self. Im willing to put more than 25 hrs per week! Thanks so much

It’s no secret that learning to code takes time. While plenty of people have a natural flair for it and can build functioning apps or websites within a few weeks, there’s a lot of elbow grease required for others. No matter how much of programming genius you are however, everyone starts off earning the same amount of money; zero. But that’s not to say that you can’t start earning money right away. Sure, it may not be the $100k+ salary that senior web developers rake in, but it’s a start. And every penny counts, right?
Awesome article! I think it is really important to have a part-time job. You can make some money and build character, not to mention some experience. When I was attending university I worked a part time job at the front desk and it certainly helped me make some walk around money that was steady. Also a lot of the time with these jobs you can make your own schedule.
If you are comfortable lifting and carrying, you can sign on websites like Movers Corp to provide heavy labor for families or businesses that need extra hand. You can then do some short term projects or show case projects for yourself, and you can then use those to speak confidently that you know how to do things in that language of interest to people. Be it a company, friend or some one on a freelance portals. There is lot of work to be done…and very little people know. So the trick is for you to learn it properly first !
A little about me, I have programmed embedded c for 7 years and currently work, in cambridge UK, for well known silicon valley semiconductor company. I am quite keen to earn a bit of extra cash doing freelance programming (unlikely to be C due to the nature of C usage). However, knowing what’s in demand, what language to focus on etc is a nightmare. I have done a bit of many languages so pick up stuff quickly.

What print does not have going for it is, the ability to drill down and achieve incredible depths of consumer insight, and then reach those people based upon interests, age, hobbies, occupations, income levels and so forth. This is quite valuable. But it is also quite complex, and since it is not my main area of expertise, I would prefer to test the waters – at least initially – via print.

Test the product if it is performing good, then post more comments, otherwise change the product and start promoting that one.
You can purchase a theme that is integrated with powerful course plugin and is suitable for your website. It may be worth looking to this course, Earn More Writing, to further your education.
Online sites that pay for school papers have gotten a bad rap because college students can use them to purchase ready-made assignments and pass them off as their own. Plagiarism and cheating have always existed, and it’s doubtful that eradicating school paper sites will stop that trend. However, some students do purchase school papers in order to study from them and/or use them as resources.
Excellent piece of article. Josh, I have something on my mind. I want to venture into the field of mobile apps development (Android). Now, is it better to stick to Native n start learning Java and then Android Development or is it better to stick to cross-platform and master HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. Which is future proof, cross platform or Native (i intend to get projects from online freelancing sites as a full time freelancer)?
I, too, have always looked at ClickBank as a secondary and even tertiary monetization source. But it can be a great sources of revenue. I linked one of my articles to a related product on CB, and without really doing promotion or anything unusual, I get a few sales a week. Mind you, the keyword(s) for the post aren’t that huge either. So, even though the traffic not huge on that post, it still manages to get some sales.
